They Mattered.
You Matter.

This is a soft place to land after baby loss and perinatal grief —
for the days you’re functioning, and the days you’re not.

Our Mission

You don’t need to be “healed” to belong here.
You don’t need the right words, the right timeline, or a hopeful ending.

This is a space for remembrance, tenderness, and honest survival —
with practices, words, and community support to help you keep going.

Our Offerings

Gentle Practices

Grounding tools for grief, anxiety, numbness, and overwhelm.

Belonging

Trauma-aware community care — no performing, fixing, or explaining.

Words that Hold You

Letters, prompts, and reflections for when language feels out of reach.

Resources

Support for crisis moments, quiet moments, and the long middle.

A Note from Me

Hi, I’m Lisa.

I created Life After Loss because grief — especially baby loss — can feel deeply isolating in a world that rushes people toward “moving on.”

Here, we honor love that didn’t get to keep living in the ways we imagined.
We make room for sorrow and meaning, anger and tenderness, memory and becoming.

You are allowed to grieve slowly.
You are allowed to return here as many times as you need.

How to Begin

The Questions We Ask in Grief

For the thoughts that circle late at night and don’t want answers.

A Self-Compassion Letter Practice

Speak to yourself as you would to someone you love.

Rituals for Remembering

Simple ways to honor your baby — privately or in community.

You don’t have to do everything.
You don’t have to feel hopeful.
You don’t have to know what comes next.
You can borrow steadiness here.
